OSCE Denounces Turkey for Its Restrictions on Freedom of Expression

According to the OSCE's media monitor, Turkey is failing to honour its commitment to support freedom of expression. More than 3,700 websites are currently blocked in the country for "arbitrary and political" reasons. In addition, journalists are at constant risk of being subject to arbitrary criminal penalties.

  1. The websites which including child pornography and insults and abuse to opinion leaders and also support terrorism will closed by court order in Turkey. I think we can think whatever we want, but some expressions may be criminal for the sake of the public good.
