Turkish Organisation Interferes in European Democratic Process

A Turkish organisation based in Germany has issued a statement demanding that Geert Wilders not be involved in forming any coalition government in the Netherlands.

On its website the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD) declares that it "focuses on the problems of Turks in Europe". It clearly defines a Turk in racial terms rather than according traditional concepts of nationality.

How extraordinary that such an explicitly racialist organisation should demand that a democratically-elected politician be excluded from government because of his "intolerance".

  1. It is also ironic that you are effectively calling for the democratically elected Erdogan from office through your bickering about his supposed Islamist AKP.

Perhaps you should practice what you preach and start accepting the fact that AKP was voted by the Turkish people and will only be removed when the Turkish people have decided that their time is up.
